I don’t normally find oak very interesting. Maybe it’s because it’s such a ubiquitous wood, but the bookmatched top for this coffee table is anything but common or ordinary. It has color, figure and the wonderful feather crotch defects, which I stabilized with walnut butterflies and black epoxy. The table is 17″ high, and the top is 18 1/2″ X 44″.
